Snow Peak

 

Snow Peak is a Japanese camping brand that makes heirloom-quality gear and apparel.

The goal was to re-position Snow Peak sponsored brand videos to target the American audience and compete with knock-off brands by showing why Snow Peak’s products are superior.

Snow Peak currently has competitors who sell similar products for 80% less and with the current Snow Peak listings, it is hard to see why a customer would pay more for the Snow Peak Product. 

Snow Peak’s current product videos focus more on the product setup than the features and benefits of how this product is superior to the cheaper competitor version. Current videos are not product-focused, too much cross-selling. A little awkward and lacks production quality. 

Our goal was to show the craftsmanship of the Snow Peak product and what makes them different as a brand (modularity). 

Scope: Strategy, Art Direction

Being efficient & effective.

A mix of the studio for details to show the craftsmanship and some lifestyle shots to show the functional aspect of these products to make these products feel more premium. 

Building a Storyboard that can be templated so production for all other products can use this same timeline to make everything more streamlined.
